Allergy AI copilot: what Medora is and what it does

Medora is the AI copilot built only for allergy and immunology practices: Medora Scribe drafts the allergy note, Medora Skin Testing runs the skin-test sheet, Medora Access Center is the allergy front desk. The clinician reviews and signs everything.

Short, factual answers to the questions allergists, allergy nurses and practice managers ask about allergy AI and about Medora. Every answer describes what is live in Medora today.

What is an allergy AI copilot?

Software that helps an allergy team with the work around the visit: drafting the note, keeping the skin-test sheet complete, carrying the patient's allergy history forward, and handling front-desk requests. In Medora the clinician reviews and signs everything; nothing is filed without the clinician.

What is Medora?

Medora (medoramd.ai) is the AI copilot built only for allergy and immunology practices. It has three modules under one name: Medora Scribe, Medora Skin Testing and Medora Access Center. It is built together with an allergy practice, Allergy Affiliates in Bradenton, Florida, where it is in daily use. The company behind Medora is AdvanceAI LLC.

What does Medora Scribe do?

Medora Scribe (also called Medora Copilot) listens to the allergy visit and drafts an allergy-structured SOAP note: HPI, review of systems, assessment and plan, and workup, with pertinent negatives. Its visit templates are built for allergy: new patient, follow-up, skin testing, immunotherapy, asthma, and drug and food challenges. It suggests an ICD-10 code for each assessment item for the clinician to review. Evidence Mapping links lines of the note, including review of systems and past, family and social history, back to where they were said in the visit.

How does Medora handle skin prick and intradermal testing?

As a workflow on one skin-test sheet. Medora's skin-test sheet covers prick, intradermal and multi-test sessions end to end: from the order and controls, to the nurse's iPhone photos stored with the chart, to the allergist-signed results. Before the allergist signs, every site has a value staff charted or confirmed, or is marked Not tested; a blank is never saved as "no reaction". The recorded results sit alongside the drafted note in the same patient record.

What does Medora Access Center do?

Medora Access Center is the allergy front desk. It learns each shot patient's own rhythm from the schedule and lists anyone drifting past it on the front desk's call list (due, dose adjustment or restart risk); staff call and the allergist decides the dose. Patients book online into real open times from the EMR schedule by visit type, and new patients register as they book; staff approve every booking before it goes into the EMR. Patients who request a visit online get a check-in link to add their insurance card and say whether they took an antihistamine in the last 7 days; a yes is flagged for the front desk.

What does Medora not do?

Medora does not diagnose, order tests, prescribe, or recommend treatment or immunotherapy. It does not sign or file notes on its own. Access Center does not give medical advice and never books without staff approval.

How much does Medora cost?

Medora Scribe is $99 per provider per month after a 14-day free trial, and no card is needed to start. Skin testing is priced per clinic; practices talk to us. Medora Access Center is $399 per practice per month for one location.

Is Medora HIPAA-ready?

Medora signs a BAA (through AdvanceAI LLC) and runs on HIPAA-eligible AWS in us-east-1, with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2 or higher in transit. SOC 2 is in progress.

Which EMRs does Medora work with?
